DUST SUPPRESSION FOR HORSE ARENAS & LIVERY YARDS

Dust suppression for horse arenas and livery yards is an individual requirement.  Depending on the arena and medium used, the drainage and amount of use the area receives can drastically alter the type of pump required, the sprinklers used and amount of water applied to the medium.

The water source itself is a major consideration.  Whether a free source is available in the form of stream, lagoon or water harvested from rain, all these can be considered along with the water quality for use in dust suppression.  It may be that a mains supply could be used.

Wroot Water Ltd. can design the system which is most efficient and most economical to operate with automatic or manual control.  This gives the optimum amount of water to avoid flooding and gives an even distribution of water over the whole area.

Consideration is given when designing outdoor systems to take into account the best sprinkler head for any effect the wind may have on the spray pattern.  These systems can be designed to run whenever the area is not in use and to be as unobtrusive as required.
