Filtration

Filtration is the most important part of a drip irrigation system. The type of filter is very dependant on water quality. Dirty water sources such as rivers and drains will require different filtration to a clean water source such as a borehole. Open watercourses may be subject to algae growing in warm weather, which could block emitters. If fertigation is being used however, this can help keep the pipes clean.
For the purpose of filtration, Wroot Water Ltd is able to offer a comprehensive range of filters from fully automated back flushing disc and sand media filters to solar powered screen filters. We also supply filters designed to control bacterium such as Brown Rot and Salmonella and for industrial processes.
